What We Collect

Account and contact details. Your email address, and your name and company if you give them to us through the waitlist or contact form.

Content you send. The documents, links and text you send to Speek, the scripts we write from them, and the audio we generate.

Usage data. Basic technical data such as device type, app version, pages visited and listening progress, used to run and improve the service.

Payment details. If you buy a plan, payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.

How We Use It

To create your episodes, run your account, answer your messages, keep the service secure, and tell you about Speek if you joined the waitlist. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

No Training on Your Documents

We do not train models on your documents, scripts or audio. Our AI providers process them only to create your episode.

Who Processes Your Data

Anthropic processes the text of your documents to write the spoken script.

ElevenLabs processes the script to generate the audio.

Our hosting provider stores the website, your files and your audio.

We share data with these processors only to provide Speek, under their terms for business customers. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and Deletion

We keep your documents and audio while your account is open, unless you delete them. You can delete any document and its audio at any time, and deleting your account removes your content from our systems within 30 days, apart from backups that expire on their normal cycle. Retention controls that let you choose shorter periods are planned.

Children

Speek is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your information. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
